Helen Fontanella's Obituary
Helen Fontanella, 90, of New York, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Lenoxhill Hospital, Manhattan, NY. She was born in Mystic, CT, daughter of the late Louis and Angela (Campo) Fontanella. She had lived in New York since she was 18 and retired as a waitress having worked for many major hotels and cruise ships. Helen is survived by a sister-in-law, Genevieve Fontanella of Stafford Springs, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, John Fontanella and Hugo "Rip" Fontanella; and four sisters, Levia Keyes, Linda Foley, Norma Collette, and Lucy Fontanella. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will be held on Monday from 9-10 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
