Helen Lechman's Obituary
Helen H. Lechman, 92, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late John J. Lechman, Jr., passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Fox Hill Center, Vernon, CT. She was born in Ashford, CT, daughter of the late John and Mary (Hopko) Hnath. Helen retired from United Aircraft, and was a member of St. Edward Parish. She is survived by her two children, James J. Lechman, Sr. and his wife Marjorie, and Marie Gagnon and her husband Alfred, Jr., all of Vernon, CT; her sister, Margaret Leachman of Vernon, CT; eight grandchildren, James J. Lechman, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Lori Barfield and her husband Erick, Steven Mortlock, Kimberly Schiebel and her husband George, Christine Lindlau and her partner Ryan Tracey, Danielle Gagnon, Amber Gagnon, and Alfred Gagnon III and his wife Claire; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the wonderful, caring staff at Fox Hill Center for the excellent care and support they provided the past few years.
