Helen (Krol) Soukup, 90, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Paul and Magdalena (Danick) Krol. She retired from Uniform Printers, and was a member of St. Edward Parish. Helen is survived by her son, John Soukup and his wife Karen of Stafford Springs, CT; daughter, Judith McConnell of Pittsfield, VT; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Soukup, Kelly Ramsey, Alex McConnell, Tina Greene, Lucas McConnell, Morgan McConnell, and McKenzie Wozniak; several great grandchildren; brother, Edward Krol; sister, Mary Posocco; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Krol, Jr. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to Evergreen Health Care Center, Recreation Fund, 205 Chestnut Hill Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
