Henry M. Borovicka's Obituary
Henry M. Borovicka, 100, of Willington, CT, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. He was born in Willington, CT, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Bisaha) Borovicka. Henry served in the United States Army during World War II being discharged with the rank of Sergeant. He worked for the Brunalli Construction Company in Southington, CT for 50 years as a superintendent, building bridges throughout New England and New York State. He was married to Elizabeth “Betty” (Lyons) Borovicka for 69 years. They built their house in Willington, CT and raised four children. His hobbies included gardening, woodworking, and traveling. Besides his loving wife Betty, Henry is survived by his three children, Michael Borovicka and Susan Liwak, James Borovicka, and Debra Arnott and her husband John; daughter-in-law, Linda Borovicka; grandchildren, Mindy, Nikki, Bethany, Kimmie, Jodi, Kelli, and John; 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Borovicka; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, John Borovicka; five sisters, Josephine Borovicka, Mary Ostrout, Ellen Hayes, Rose Siegmund, and Agnes Benson; and his brother, Thomas Borovicka. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Church Service at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Episcopal Church, 7 Spring St., Stafford Springs, CT.
