Henry J. Houle's Obituary
Henry J. Houle, 83, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Judith (Hall) Houle, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Arthur and Evelina (Collette) Houle. Henry was a veteran of the United States Navy, and was the owner/operator of H. J. Houle and Son. He was a fan of UConn Basketball, and enjoyed reading and going camping with his wife at NASCAR races (Loudon, NH and Bristol, TN). Above all, he enjoyed his time spent in his machines and dump trucks. Henry is survived by his five sons, Roy Houle and his wife Marla of Stafford Springs, CT, Gary Houle and his partner Laurel Reed of Tennessee, Clifford Houle and his wife Laura of Maine, Scott Houle and his partner Jessica Lawton of Mansfield, CT, Michael Houle and his wife Lori of Stafford Springs, CT, and daughter-in-law, Amy Houle; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Houle (and his late wife Susan) and Douglas Houle and his wife Patti; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 9:30-11:00 A.M., with a funeral service to take place at 11:00 A.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
