Hugh P. McNiff's Obituary
Hugh P. McNiff, 57, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 13, 2016. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, son of the late Hugh P., Sr. and Mary (Sheehan) McNiff. Hugh was a graduate of Queen of Peace High School in New Jersey, and was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He was currently employed by Union Local #9 as a roofer. His hobbies included riding his Harley and fishing. Hugh loved crossword puzzles, and had an immense love for dogs as well. Hugh is survived by his wife, Loriann (Marino) McNiff; two sons, Daniel Weiskopf and Kevin McNiff; two sisters, Rose DeJianne and her husband Arthur, and Maureen McNiff and her fiancé Harry Pierce; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 4-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
