Ines M. Bardini's Obituary
Ines (Mottes) Bardini, 97, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Dominic Bardini, peacefully went to sleep on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Evergreen Health Care Center. She was born in Fai, Italy, daughter of the late Albino and Silvia (Tonidandel) Mottes. She moved to Stafford Springs, CT at the age of seven and resided there for the rest of her life. Ines was a member of St. Edward Church, Court Isabella Council #785 Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the Stafford Senior Center, the Italian Benefit Society Ladies Auxiliary, and the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Her hobbies included braiding rugs, knitting, and crocheting. She loved doing crafts. Ines also enjoyed trips to the casino, and cheering for the UConn Women’s Basketball team and the Boston Red Sox. She will always be remembered for her smile and the love she had for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will remain in our hearts forever. Ines is survived by her two daughters, Janice Curnan and Nancy Mamunes and her husband Anthony; three grandchildren, Timothy Curnan and his wife Heather, Cathy Lamberg and her husband Kevin, and Michael Mamunes; four great grandchildren, Lauren and Ashley Lamberg, and Dominic and Ian Curnan; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Keith Curnan; and brother, Onorio Mottes. The family would like to thank the staff at Evergreen for all of their care, and also to Bob Brozek, for his love and support throughout the years. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
