Irene Sfreddo's Obituary
K. Irene Sfreddo, 93, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Francisco and Victoria (Panciera) Sfreddo. Irene retired as the hospital administrator at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Edward Church, the Stafford Fish and Game Club, and the Town of Stafford Finance Committee. Irene is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Nelson, Francis “Bylo”, and Alfred Sfreddo; and three sisters, Gloria Sfreddo, Delma McGuire, and Ora Sfreddo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Edward School Memorial Fund, 6 Benton St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
