Irene B. Williams' Obituary
Irene B. Williams, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Walter L. Williams, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Evergreen Health Care Center. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Vonasek) Blazejovsky. Irene worked as a bookkeeper at the Co-op for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Edward Church, and member of Court Isabella #785 Catholic Daughters of America, the Stafford Historical Society, and the Czechoslovakian Club in Willington. She enjoyed her Wednesday night knitting club, her Friday night club, and Saturday nights at the Arizona after Mass. Irene is survived by her five children, Virginia Guilmette and her husband Gerard, Thomas Williams, Michael Williams and his wife Joanne, Peter Williams and his wife Sheila, and Paula Fagan and her husband Jay; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Mangold, Amy Guilmette, Erin Guilmette, Benjamin Guilmette, Roxane Dillow, Colin Williams, Emily Tarry, and Daniel Fagan; three great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Reynolds; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Walter L. Williams, Jr., two brothers, Aldrich and Ervin; and three sisters, Bertha, Clara, and Henrietta. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
