Irma C. Campo, 84, of Windham, CT died Saturday November 18, 2006 at Windham
Community Memorial Hospital, Willimantic, CT. She was the widow of the late John V. Campo who died in 1976. Irma was born in Stafford Springs, CT the daughter of the late Emilo and Giovanna "Jennie" (Fontanella) Cini. Irma was a retired cook at the University of Connecticut, and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel, Storrs, CT. She lived in Stafford Springs and Mansfield-Storrs for many years and then at the St. Joseph Living Center, Willimantic, CT. She loved her cats, gardening, cooking, and entertaining. Irma is survived by a son Jonathon L. Campo of Stafford Springs, CT; a daughter and son-in-law Lisa J. and James A. Hendricks of Chaplin, CT; a sister Victoria Tonoli of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter Constance Campo in 1993. A funeral will be held Wednesday November 22, 2006 with a procession forming at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main Street, Stafford Springs, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High Street, Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. There are no calling hours.
