Irma Scussel's Obituary
Irma V. Scussel, 86, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Alexander J. Scussel, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family members at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Quinto and Augusta (Negro) Spallacci. Throughout her life, Irma enjoyed cooking and gardening but her greatest love was spending time with her loving children. On behalf of the family, they would like to thank the nurses, CNA's and the entire staff at Evergreen Health Care Center who displayed warm compassion and gave exceptional care to their mom. Irma is survived by her two children, Wayne A. Scussel of Manchester, CT, and her loving daughter Lynn M. Begin and her fianc Michael E. Petroski of Stafford Springs, CT; two sisters, Gloria Daigle of Stafford Springs, CT and Delores Lentocha of Vernon, CT; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Nello Spallacci. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 1 P.M. at Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Evergreen Health Care Center Recreation Fund, 205 Chestnut Hill Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076, or to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., P.O.
