Isabell Zabilansky's Obituary
Isabell M. Zabilansky, 78, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Floyd R. Zabilansky, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Glastonbury Health Care Center. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Angelo and Regina (DeCarli) Zamperi. Isabell was a member of St. Edward Parish, curator for the Stafford Historical Society, member of the Stafford Democratic town committee, the Stafford Senior Center, the Staffordville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Italian Benefit Society. She also worked at the Stafford Thrift Shop for many years, enjoyed gardening and antiquing, and was an advocate for many Stafford town projects. Isabell is survived by her four children, LouAnn Manzi and her husband Richard of South Windsor, CT, Robert Zabilansky and his wife Dana of Lyme, CT, Mary Fontanella and Jim Shaw of Stonington, CT, and John Zabilansky and his wife Barbara of Stafford Springs, CT; four grandchildren, Steven and Michael Manzi, and Megan and Justin Zabilansky; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT. Calling hours are on Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
