James L. Ambler's Obituary
James L. Ambler, 79, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Marshall, MI, on May 14, 1946 to loving parents, the late Leo and Daurel (Anderson) Ambler. Jim was a graduate of Marshall High School, where he was a member of the Future Farmers of America. Jim proudly served our country as a sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1970.
Jim worked for Eaton Corporation, Fluid Power Division as a Heat Treat Technician and Quality Control Assurance Inspector. He continued as a Quality Control Assurance Inspector for Union Pump Company of Battle Creek, MI. Jim retired from Pratt & Whitney as a Lead Materials Technician working with both military and space program applications.
James’ legacy is continued through those he loved the most, his wife of 33 years, Kulli (Saimra) Ambler; son, Leo Ambler; daughter, Brianna Olivier and her husband Christian; granddaughter, Arabella Skye Olivier; brother Robert Ambler and his wife Lori; sister, Beverly Michael; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main Street, Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA.
Though he passed peacefully on March 9, 2026, we will continue to cherish the fond memories we have of Jim and speak his name often. The family would like to have a celebration of his life, of our husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend we knew as James Ambler. The family will announce the celebration of life at the conclusion of the funeral service.
