James P. Bastable, 85, of Middleton, MA died Thursday October 12, 2006 at his daughter's home in Stafford Springs, CT. He was the widower of the late Mary Louise (Pickard) Bastable. James was born in Boston, MA the son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Brennan) Bastable. He was a retired electrician for the State of Massachusetts. James is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law James and Barbara Bastable of Danvers, MA, Richard and Jeannie Bastable of Middleton, MA; a daughter and son-in-law Laurie and David Bouchard of Stafford Springs, CT; 6 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton, MA will be private. There are no calling hours.
