James Kidney's Obituary
James Kidney, 75, of Ashford, CT passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Frederick and Amanda Mary (Levesque) Kidney. Jim served our country in the United States Army, and retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections as a Corrections Officer. He loved riding his motorcycle and going fishing. He also enjoyed watching football, the Price is Right, and Jeopardy. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara (White) Kidney; daughter, Thea Richter and her husband Dan; grandson, James D. Kidney; brother, Donald Jerome Kidney; several nephews; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Norma White, Al White and his wife Maud, and Rick White; and longtime friends, John Griffin, Michael Krul and his wife Nancy, and Ken and Faye Arnold.
