James Lawrence's Obituary
James A. Lawrence, 68, of Staffordville, CT, beloved husband of the late Marguerite (Davis) Lawrence, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Woodlake at Tolland, Tolland, CT. He was born in Burlington, VT, son of the late George E. and Mary M. (Latourneau) Lawrence. Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a truck driver from Campo Express. He was a member of St. Edward Parish. Jim also enjoyed music, art, oil painting, carving, and traveling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Jim is survived by his four children, Teresa Ritchie and her husband Norman of Stafford Springs, CT, Carol Lawrence of Springfield, MA, James A Lawrence II and his wife Jennifer of Stafford Springs, CT, and Robert Lawrence of Willington, CT; four grandchildren, Amanda, Suzanna, Rene, and Jamie; two great grandchildren, Damien and Aries; 11 siblings, Richard Lawrence and his wife Arlene, Garry Lawrence and his wife Irene, Ellen Deo and her husband Donald, Joseph Lawrence, Linda Prouty, John Lawrence and his wife Susan, Michael Lawrence, Mark Lawrence, Thomas Lawrence, Peter Lawrence, and Mary Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edwin Lawrence. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
