James A. LePore's Obituary
James Anthony LePore, age 73, of Stafford Springs, CT, died Sunday, June 21, 2026, in Norwich, CT.
He was born April 14, 1953, in Fort Meade, MD. Jim was a member of Stafford High School’s Class of 1971 and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for four years from 1971 to 1975. After the Marines, he worked for Burroughs/Standard Register in Tolland for nearly 40 years before retiring in 2015.
Jim was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family at social gatherings.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Humbert and Gloria (DaDalt) LePore. He leaves a son, Anthony LePore of Stafford Springs; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Donald LePore and Maribeth Stearns of Ashford, CT; Timothy and Dianne LePore of South Windsor, CT; and Jerome LePore of South Windsor; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held to honor Jim’s life, with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.
