James M. Piccoli's Obituary
James M. Piccoli, 66, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Peter and Elaine (Bastarache) Piccoli. Jim served our country in the United States Marine Corps, and was currently working as an equipment operator in construction. He was a member of the Italian Benefit Society, and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Other hobbies included going to Bluegrass Festivals, and watching NASCAR and UConn Basketball. Jim is survived by his three siblings, Lorraine Keough and her husband George of Amory, MS, Mike Piccoli and his wife Lisa of Suffield, CT, and Ed Piccoli and his wife Lisa of Holland, MA; two aunts, Carolyn O’Konis and her husband Jack, and Belva Piccoli; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 from 12:00-2:00 PM, with a funeral service to take place at 2:00 PM, at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
