James Simon's Obituary
James J. Simon, 89, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Blair Manor, Enfield, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Louis and Anne (Jabara) Simon. Jim was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and retired as a manager from the A & P Company. He was a member of St. Edward Parish, Rev. Felix J. O'Neil Council #1395 Knights of Columbus, Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, and V.F.W. Post No. 9990 of Stafford. Jim is survived by his wife, Marion (Wright) Simon; and his son, Donald Simon. Funeral services and burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
