Jane E. Prucha's Obituary
Jane E. Prucha, 89, of Union, CT, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 peacefully in her bed. She was born in Lincoln, PA, daughter of the late Stanley Knoff and Mary (Kempinski) Knoff. Jane was the wife of the late Joseph Prucha for 61 years and a mother of 6 children. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and bowling. Jane was an avid gardener and enjoyed the fruits of her labor in the flowers she grew and the vegetables she preserved. She was involved in several organizations and committees in the Town of Union. Jane is survived by her six children, Marie Prucha-Fortuna, Michael Prucha and Maryann, Larry Prucha and wife Laurie, Joe Prucha and Norrie, Lisa Prucha and Karl Wulfsberg, and Rachael Prucha; granddaughter Taryn Jaramillo and grandson Todd Jaramillo, along with eight additional grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Florence DeMay and Stella Doucette. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 3 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
