Jane (Hartenstein) Slater passed away April 14, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital after a period of declining health following a stroke suffered late last year. Jane was born in Hartford, CT on June 20, 1945 to Elmer Francis Hartenstei Read Obituary

I am very sorry to learn of Jane"s passing. She and Gail (Grennen) were such good friends for a very long time. On behalf of Gail and myself, I want to express deep sympathy to Jane's family and all who cared for her.
My sympathy to Jane's family. Jane and I spent many long hours and days working together at the Department of Correction. Jane was a special person who loved her family immensely.
She will be missed by many.

Sorry for your loss. I worked with Jane in her last assignment at DOC before she retired. She was a nice lady, who spoke of her church, and with pride in her family.
