Jane E. Works' Obituary
Jane E. (Safranek) Works, 78, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Noel G. Works, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Nichols) Safranek. Jane retired from the maintenance department at the University of Connecticut. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Deane of Florida, and Elizabeth Schimmelpfennig and her husband Geoffrey of Pomfret Center, CT; seven grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy and his wife Vanessa, Corissa and her husband Leo, Evan, Carli, Alexa, and Adam; six great grandchildren; sister, Joan Safranek; special friend, Mario; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Edwin; and three sisters, Mary, Louise, and Alice. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Church Service at 11 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, Church St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
