Janet T. Cormier's Obituary
Janet Theresa (Nigro) (Lepak) Cormier, 74, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on March 30, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Hartford, CT on February 4, 1950, daughter of the late Dorothy (McGonnell) Nigro and Michael Nigro. She leaves behind her husband, Alfred Cormier of Stafford Springs, children: Faith Nigro, Mary Lepak, and Seth Lepak, grandchildren: Caleb Lepak, Chase Sansabrino, grandpup: Hallie Hope, sister: Dorothy Wittenzellner, and brother: Michael Nigro, Jr. She was predeceased by her siblings: Lawrence Nigro, John Nigro, Paul Nigro, Patrick Nigro, James Nigro, and Paula Nigro. Janet was a wonderful woman who was kind, full of laughter and welcoming to all. She loved watching her westerns, veterinary series, and the Dodo videos. Janet lived in Stafford Springs for over 40 years, and was well known and loved by all. She retired from 3M in Stafford Springs where she made many friends. She was known for her generous spirit and had an open door for anyone who needed help, needed a place to share holidays, or just needed to talk. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them laughing or watching them shine. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 12:00-2:00 PM, with a funeral service to take place at 2:00 PM, at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
