Janet B. Nevue's Obituary
Janet B. Nevue, 78, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Manchester Hospital. She was born in East Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Edward and Jessie (Muhleib) Kiernan. Janet will be remembered most by her friends and family for her sense of humor, love for family, and raising her children and foster children. She loved NASCAR racing, Stafford Motor Speedway (never missing a Friday night race in over 45 years), UConn Basketball, cats, crocheting, flowers, and hummingbirds. Janet is survived by her children, Marc Nevue, Michele Titus, William P. Nevue, Jr. and his wife Doreen, and John Nevue; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittaney, Amanda, and Melanie; great grandchildren, Eliza, Ginny, and Ava; nieces, Denise Walker, Marianne Bernardini, Susan Custer, Linda Manning, and Kelly Hemmeler; nephews, Matthew Kiernan, and Kevin and Jay Barnett; special friends, Sharon Wilson, Sharon Uhlman, Phyllis Righenzi, Martie Hebert, David and Sue Kostyk, and Sarah Rudek; and her extended family at Esteem Manufacturing in South Windsor. She was predeceased by her brother, Gerald Kiernan; sister, Kathleen Croteau; and nephew, David Barnett. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1-3 P.M., with a memorial service to take place at 3 P.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in Ellington Center Cemetery, Ellington, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
