Janet R. St. Louis' Obituary
Janet R. St. Louis, 78, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Ellwyn E. St. Louis, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. She was born in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Albert and Lucille (Lambert) Arcand. Janet worked for many years as a registered nurse and was a Director of Nursing for a number of nursing homes in the Springfield area. Janet enjoyed knitting, sewing, and puzzles. She played cards and dominos with her friends from T.O.P.S., Denise, Mikki, and Nancy, enjoyed spending time in New York at the home of her best friend Laurie Ayotte and her husband Roger, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Janet is survived by her son, Thomas Bailey and his partner Kathryn Hoskins; step children, Eric St. Louis and his wife Erin, Tim St. Louis and his partner Jeannie Murphy, Annette St. Louis, and Robin Gilligan and her husband Sean; grandchildren, Nora, Michael, Michelle and her fiance James, Garth, Dylan, Matthew, Dakota, Logan, Jasmine, Randy, Ajay and his wife Crystal, and Rachel and her fiancé Kody; great grandchildren, Landon, Kody, Nikia, Zachariah, Tyler, Kaileena, Riley, and Miles; and sisters, Judy Severin and her husband Herb, Jackie Decker, and Jeannine Smith and her partner Walter. She was predeceased by her step daughter, Christine Wright. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Bernard Cemetery, Vernon, CT, will take place privately. Calling hours are on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
