Janice Miller's Obituary
Janice A. (Bakulski) Miller, 70, of Stafford Springs, CT and Ocala, FL, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2006 with her family by her side. She was born in Fort Kent, ME, daughter of the late Romeo and Azilda (Pinette) Austin. She retired as co-owner of First America Financial Services. Janice was a member of St. Edward Parish, Queen of Peace Parish, the St. Edward's Ladies Guild, and the Stafford Senior Center. She was an avid ceramic artist and enjoyed antiques. Janice is survived by her loving husband of nine years, Robert K. Miller of Ocala, FL; a son, Kenneth S. Bakulski of Meriden, CT; three daughters, Kathleen A. Fisher and her husband Gary of Stafford Springs, CT, Pamela J. Furness and her husband James of Ellington, CT, and Susan M. Jellen and her husband Peter of Harrisburg, NC; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Carin, Scott, Lees, and Jennifer; a brother, Dana Austin of Mansfield, CT; three sisters, Joan Tuxbury of Silver Springs, FL, Jean Forman of Chicopee, MA, and Joyce Austin of Ellington, CT; several aunts and uncles; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Leonard S. Bakulski. The family would like to thank Dr. Skalski and the staff at Johnson Memorial hospital for the wonderful care she received throughout the course of her illness. A funeral will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2006, with a procession forming at 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
