Jean A. Bessette's Obituary
Jean A. Bessette, 72, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Paul J. Bessette, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in North Adams, MA, daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred (Carsno) Racette. She worked as an inspector for JC Penney for many years. Jean was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Italian Benefit Society Ladies Auxiliary. She was a huge Yankees fan, enjoyed playing bingo and singing karaoke, going to the casino, and above all being with her family. Jean is survived by her seven children, Barbara Peck and her companion Dee, Stephen Folino and his companion Lisa, Lisa Folino, Debbie Parr and her husband Lee, Wayne Bessette and his wife Karen, Susan Corey and her husband Alan, and Doreen Loalbo; eleven grandchildren, Paul David, Ricky, Wayne Jr., Joshua, Andrea, Billy, Nicole, Danielle, Travis, Tira and Tommy; seven great grandchildren; four siblings, Skip Racette and his wife Sandy, Pat Goman, John Racette and his wife Theresa, and Don Racette and his wife Dot. She was predeceased by two brothers, two sisters, and her dear friend Alfred Folino. The funeral service for Jean will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
