Jean Brodrick's Obituary
Jean Brodrick, 69, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 at her home. Jean was predeceased by her husband Dave, whom she cherished during 43 years of marriage. She was born in Palmer, MA, daughter of the late William T. and Marie (Valdrow) Brown. Jean was good humored and kind and always gave time, love, and support to her family and friends. She was very creative, and had a knack for crafts, making everything from clothes to furniture to Christmas ornaments. She lived simply, enjoying pets, shopping, bird watching, gardening, and watching her beloved Boston Red Sox. She considered her most important and proudest project to be her family. Jean is survived by her three children, Jane Dobruck, Ann Bigda and her husband Alan, and Steven Brodrick and his wife Barbara; two grandsons, Nathan and Ryan Brodrick; three siblings, Marjorie Mancuso and her husband Frank, William Brown and his wife Susan, and Richard Brown and his wife Barbara; brother-in-law, William Drawec; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Carol Drawec. Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
