My sincere condolences to the Hartenstein family. Jean was always so friendly. I would stop by when she was outside working with her flowers in the front yard. Jean and Elmer were good friends of my family. They both will be missed. It is so sad that they both left together and remain together. My heart goes out to the children.

Elmer and Jean, what great people and the best life long friends to my Mom & Dad; Larry and Eleanor Emhoff. The beautiful view of Staffordville Lake that they witnessed every day, was their outlook on life. Their extraordinary connection to each other extended to the two of them Touching the Face of God on the very same day. We’re so fortunate to have known them.
Love to Jill, Bob, Tracy and the entire family
