Jean I. Vinci's Obituary
Jean (Introvigne) Vinci, 92, of Boca Raton, FL, and formerly of Middletown, CT, wife of the late Dr. Theodore L. Vinci, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Alba (Michielini) Introvigne. Jean graduated from Stafford High School and Middlesex Hospital School of Nursing in Middletown, CT, with a registered nurse degree. She assisted her husband in his dental office for over 25 years. She was a board member of Middlesex Memorial Hospital Alumnae, as well as MAPS, a group dedicated to assisting Multiple Sclerosis patients in Middlesex County. Ted and Jean retired in Florida to care for his parents. Jean is survived by her two sons, Theodore L. Vinci, Jr. of Baltic, CT and Thomas J. Vinci of Florida; seven grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Jonathan, Justin and his wife Lindsey, Matthew, Tommy, and Samuel; a great grandson, Parker; her brother, Rev. Raymond D. Introvigne, Co-Director of Spiritual Renewal Services in Norwich, CT, who will be celebrating Jean’s funeral Mass; sister-in-law, Frances (Marino) Vinci; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph A. Introvigne and his wife Josephine; sister, Dolores Talamini and her husband Tal; and brother-in-law, William Vinci. Calling hours are on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will also be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 10-11 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Sebastian Church, 155 Washington St., Middletown, CT.
