Jennie Marvonek's Obituary
Jennie Marvonek, 86, of Brendon St., Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late John Marvonek, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2007 surrounded by her loving family at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was born in Monson, MA, daughter of the late Frank and Julia Smith. Jennie retired as a maintenance worker from the University of Connecticut. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, the former Pocahontas club, and several town Senior Centers (Stafford, Somers, Ellington, Monson, Palmer, and Willington). Jennie was also an avid card player, enjoyed traveling throughout the world and meeting and talking to people, and was devoted to always helping others when in need. Jennie is survived by her two children, Michael F. Marvonek and his wife Patricia of West Stafford, CT, and Carol A. Caisse of Willington, CT; four grandchildren, Darlene Boudreau and her husband Kevin of Vernon, CT, Daryle Marvonek and his wife Bonnie of Attleboro, MA, Neal Caisse of Willington, CT, and Tina Smyth and her husband James of Ellington, CT; three great grandchildren, Eleri, Adrian, and Joshua; a brother, Walter Smith and his wife Helen of Wilbraham, MA; a sister, Arlene Jeronczyk and her husband Edward of Greenfield, MA; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Emlik and Edward Smith. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Church Service at 11 A.M. at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
