Jeremy "Homer" Laviolette's Obituary
Jeremy D. "Homer" Laviolette, 29, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and close friends on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Jeremy loved to fish and could always be seen fishing off the bridge down by the old library in Stafford. He also enjoyed flying model airplanes, and was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. He liked playing video games, and riding dirt bikes on his uncle's property, always with a smile on his face. Jeremy is survived by his mother, Cathy Laviolette-Gleason; sister, Tasha Gardner; aunt and uncle, Rose and Gary Michalec; uncle, John Kollanda and his wife Diane; cousin, Jason Michalec and his wife Rossy; several close friends, Lee and Phil his fishing buddies, Guy and Roy his flying buddies, Auntie Laurie Flood, Charles Williams; and several other extended family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the Stafford Springs Congregational Church, 3 Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately.
