Jesse "Buddy" R. Carroll Jr.'s Obituary
Jesse R. “Buddy” Carroll, Jr., 80, of Tolland, CT, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Jesse R. and Jessie (Stephens) Carroll. Buddy served in the National Guard and worked at the former Stafford Printers for 25 years, and then retired from Amerbelle/Challenge Sailcloth. As a hobby, he raised and showed Shetland Sheepdogs. He took great pride in taking care of his house (that he built) and property. Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Glennis (Artruc) Carroll; two children, Dennis Carroll and his wife Lori, and Candace Joseph; two grandchildren, Estelle Percoski and her husband Jarrod, and Jacob Elco; two great grandchildren, Adam and Spencer Percoski; two siblings, Joan Stanford and Roy “Butch” Carroll and his wife Winona; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five siblings, Homer Carroll, Lorene Muir, Lucille Etta Straton, Molly Prinzivalli, and Constance Janiak. His funeral service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
