John W. Belcher's Obituary
John W. Belcher, 79, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Hartford Hospital after a very long battle with dementia. He was born in Stafford, son of the late Ralph and Amorette (Stebbins) Belcher. John worked in construction and farming throughout his life. He was also an accomplished golfer, having played on the New England Pro Tour and at Torrey Pines while he lived in California in his younger years. He was known as The Farmer, and he had a great love of the land and for his hometown of Stafford. John is survived by his sister, Carol Wilson and her husband John; niece, Amorette Bianchi and her husband Domenick; grand niece and nephew, Ember and Greyson Bianchi; and cousin, Doug Stebbins. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
