John Budd's Obituary
John S. Budd, 83, of Westford Rd., Eastford, CT, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Belleville, NJ on December 9, 1923, son of the late John H. and Mildred (Harrison) Budd. John was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired teacher from Woodstock Academy, and was a well-known, gifted artist. John is survived by his devoted wife, Jane N. Budd; three sons, Jonathan Budd and his wife Kirstin, Lincoln Budd and his wife Rachel, and Howard Budd and his wife Jacki, all of Eastford, CT; a daughter, Elizabeth Corbett and her husband Bill of Enfield, CT; 14 grandchildren; and a brother, Howard Budd and his wife Marjorie of Florida. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Hollingsworth. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 2 P.M. at the Eastford Congregational Church, Church Rd., Eastford, CT. Burial in Grove Cemetery, Eastford, CT, will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Eastford Congregational Church, P.O. Box 177, Eastford, CT 06242.
