John Dugan's Obituary
John J. Dugan, 59, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved husband of 37 years to Lorraine Dugan, passed away with his loving family by his side on Friday, March 23, 2007 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Woonsocket, RI, son of the late Joseph and Doris (Guilbeault) Dugan. He attended Rhode Island Radio and Electronics in Providence, RI, and was employed by Ratheon Data Systems for many years before becoming owner of Dugan?s Yogurt & More in Stafford Springs, CT. He also attended the Connecticut Culinary School and became a dietary manager before retiring. He enjoyed camping and hiking with his family and took great pride with his garden. He was also an avid sports fan. Besides his wife, John is survived by his daughter, Lori A. Brien and her husband Peter of Arlington, VA; three sons, Patrick Dugan of Stafford Springs, CT, Jeffrey Dugan and his wife Amanda of Stafford Springs, CT, and Michael Dugan of Manchester, CT; five grandchildren, Matthew, Brianna, and Jacob Dugan, and Patrick and Daniel Brien. He also leaves two brothers, Richard Dugan of New York City, and Michael Dugan and his wife Carmen of Texas; a sister-in-law, Suzanne Normandin and her husband John of Bellingham, MA; a brother-in-law, Robert Goulet of Woonsocket, RI; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, Toby, his grand-dog. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 with a procession forming at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday From 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
