John H. “Cowboy” Panciera, 95, of Parkess St., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late John and Catrina (Talamini) Panciera. John retired from Hamilton Standard as an experimental machinist after 36 years of employment. He was a member of St. Edward Parish, honorary life member of Rev. Felix J. O’Neil Council #1395 Knights of Columbus, honorary life member of the Italian Benefit Society where he held various offices, member of the Stafford Senior Center, former officer of Home Pride Provisions, former officer of the Workers Federal Credit Union, and former member of the Borough of Stafford Springs Planning and Zoning board. John is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Gloria (Tonoli) Panciera; two children, Pamela J. Adamovich and her husband Michael, and Richard P. Panciera and Carol Seidman; four grandchildren, Alexis, Krista, Benjamin, and Elijah; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A calling hour will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
