John A. Miller's Obituary
John A. Miller, 80, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Cleveland, OH, son of the late Anthony J. and Elizabeth (Fedick) Miller. John started his IT career working at Harris Seabold in Cleveland, OH in 1969, and retired as a Vice President of ISTAR Financial in Glastonbury, CT. He was a member of the Board of Finance in the Town of Stafford for 20 years, and was also a past member of the Stafford Lions Club. John was always ready to help others with any projects, however, his family were always the most important in his life. John is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lida (Wenzel) Miller; daughter, Lida Carroll and her husband Edward; the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Lida Rose Carroll and Maxwell Carroll; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Miller and Eloise Wenzel; brother-in-law, George Wenzel; and many good friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Johanna Miller in 1997; and his brother, William Miller of Stuart, FL in 2024. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs. CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Please meet directly at the Church.
