Dear Phil and Barbara, I just learned of John's death. Children are not supposed to preceed their parents in death. This must be an absolutely crushing blow. I am so sorry to learn of Johns short life on this earth. I am sure you have lots of special memories, and know that they will always to there for you both to reflect on and draw strength from.

Even one week later I am in shock that John is gone. I hear him..his voice...his laughter...he's walking thru my house with Matt running electric wires....playing his guitar on Sunday in church...emailing my husband with crazy investment ideas...pulling the Rv into our yard...joining us for a pig roast....talking to my son who needed to hear good advise. I could go on and on...I am so very lost at how this can be....as we all are. Know this, Jessica...that man loved you and your kids with ever fiber of his body. We love you are your family....we will be here for you in any way you need us. God bless you, bring His peace to you, wrap His arms around you and the kids...love you Ann and John Z
I am so sorry for such a precious loss. I am pretty new to the church so I didn't have a chance to personally meet John. Jessica, I can only imagine what you and the children and rest of the family are going thru. Please, if I can do anything, please let me know.

Although we've known him a short time, he was a wonderful neighbor and we felt fortunate that he and his family moved next door. He was a friendly, caring man who will be missed by all who knew him.
I cant express how sorry I am for your loss! I remember hanging out with John at band practice in your basement like it was yesterday.. john recently purchased windows from me for his new garage. Even more recently stopped by to show me his new/old wheels. (and almost ran me off the road so I would stop! :)
For the life of me I can't understand why good people are taken from us so soon.
John will always be in my heart, and I will never forget his love, loyalty, and spirit.
