John Plattner,'s Obituary
John A. Plattner, Sr., 67, of Willington, CT, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Suffern, NY, son of the late George and Edna (O'Dell) Plattner. John had worked at the transfer station for the Town of Willington. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Ursin) Plattner; seven children, Patricia Motes, John A. Plattner, Jr., Bonnie Clark, Gary Plattner, Dawn Marquis, Linda Pease, and Jason Plattner; 16 grandchildren; a step sister, Cathy Burton; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
