John Sefcik's Obituary
John Sefcik, 91, formerly of Stafford Springs, CT and Monson, MA, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011 at Mid-State Medical Center, Meriden, CT. He was born on March 23, 1920 in Bridgeport, CT to the late John and Berta (Emro) Sefcik, the youngest of three children and only son. John proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines Corps during World War II, and retired from Dean Machine as a maintenance supervisor. In addition to his parents and two sisters, John was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (Sheridan) Sefcik; his daughters, Cheryl A. Perlot and Kathleen L. Perlot; and a son-in-law, Richard Perlot. He is survived by his daughter, Linda S. Lewis and her husband Bill of Charlotte, NC; son, John F. Sefcik and his wife Kelly of Sheffield, VT; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves his son-in-law, Robert Perlot; one niece; two nephews; and his dear companion of twenty years, Evelyn Bampton and her two daughters.
