John E. Tennant's Obituary
John E. Tennant, 72, of Willington, CT, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT. He was born in Fairmont, WV, to Mary Tennant, but later raised by Norman Tennant. John retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft with 44 years of service as a machinist. John is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Nona (Prentiss) Tennant; three children, Sabrina Warren and her husband Allen, John N. Tennant and his wife Sara, and Matthew Tennant and his wife Erin; four grandchildren, Marcus, Elley, Ian, and Lucas; two siblings, Jimmy Joe Tennant and his wife Kim, and Ladonna (Patti) Bossé and her husband John; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place at a later date in Park Cemetery, Miracle Run, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, 103 Vision Way, Bloomfield, CT 06002.
