Joseph A. Bilodeau's Obituary
Joseph A. Bilodeau, 98, of Tolland, CT, husband of the late Jeannine L. (Veilleux) Bilodeau, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was born in Lewiston, ME, son of the late Alphonse Bilodeau and Lucienne (Gagne) Masse. Joe served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. He had worked at Colt Firearms as a gun assembler, and then as a truck driver for local grocery chains. Joe is survived by his sons, Armand Bilodeau and his wife Phyllis of Hudson, FL, and Marc Bilodeau and his wife Kim of Tolland, CT; grandchildren, Michael Bilodeau of Spokane, WA, Kelsey Bilodeau of Boston, MA, Avery Bilodeau of Tampa, FL, Nicole Bilodeau and her fiancé Patrick Sekula of Enfield, CT, Marcus Bilodeau of Tolland, CT, and step granddaughter, Heather Grimme of Tolland, CT; great grandson, Carson Bilodeau of Spokane, WA; his loving caretaker, Barbara Lawrence; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Irene Madore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Matthew Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT, followed by Military Honors. Burial will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to Tolland Fire Department, 191 Merrow Rd., Tolland, CT 06084, or to Tolland Senior Center, 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084.
