Joseph Collette's Obituary
Joseph R. Collette, 94, of Collette Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, beloved husband of the late Marie A. "Blondy" Collette, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT, surrounded by his family. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Henry and Mary (King) Collette. Joe retired having worked as a dairy farmer and at A.M.F. CUNO. He was also a member of St. Edward Parish. Joe is survived by his three children, Joseph H. Collette and his wife Linda of Wales, MA, Kenneth Collette and his wife Darlene of Stafford Springs, CT, and Laura Rose and her husband Douglas of Stafford Springs, CT; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Agnes Woods and sister-in-law, Mary Collette, both of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters. His funeral will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse and Health Services of Connecticut, Inc., 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066, or to Evergreen Health Care Center, 205 Chestnut Hill Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
