Joseph C. DeJesse's Obituary
Joseph C. DeJesse, 62, of Eastford, CT passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Darby, PA, son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Marella) DeJesse. Joe worked as an auditor for the State of Connecticut, Department of Revenue Services. He was proud to be a volunteer fireman for the Eastford Independent Fire Company #1, and enjoyed model trains. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lisa (Hand) DeJesse; two daughters, Christine Masztal and her husband Mark, and Mary DeJesse; a grandson, Trystan DeJesse; three sisters, Jacqueline DeJesse-Fisher and her husband John, Rita Cook, and Annette Abel and her husband Ed; and many nieces and nephews. His funeral will begin with a procession forming on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 64 Pompey Hollow Rd., Ashford, CT. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Philip Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
