Joseph F. Foucher Sr.'s Obituary
Joseph F. Foucher, Sr., 81, of Monson, MA, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Wing Memorial Hospital, Palmer, MA. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Omer and Gertrude (Fawcett) Foucher. Joe served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict, and retired from Hamilton Standard as a machinist. He was a member of the Quaboag Valley Baptist Church, and Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Elizabeth Foucher; five children, Deborah Rose and her husband Terry, JoAnn Foucher and her husband Angel Sanchez, Joseph F. Foucher, Jr., Karen Palmerino, and George Foucher and his wife Sheila; five step children, Lisa Dion, Richard Dion and his wife Nancy, Timothy Dion, Kathy Oslowski and her husband Stephen, and Gregory Dion and his wife Sara; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three siblings, Leroy Foucher and his wife Cindy, Patricia Malo and her husband Joe, and Robert Foucher and his wife Candace; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Carole Foucher; and six siblings. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
