Joseph "Shat" Corsini's Obituary
Joseph R. “Shat” Corsini, 83, of Riviera Beach, FL, passed away on April 22, 2011 at Hospice of Palm Beach County, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He was born and educated in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Rico J. and Constance (Puglisi) Corsini. Joe was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during World War II. He retired as an institutional chef from the Mansfield State Training School. Joe was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Italian Benefit Society, and avid golfer and longtime member of Willimantic Country Club. Joe is survived by his three children, Michael J. Corsini of Stafford Springs, CT, Lisa C. Klukas and her husband Robert of Tolland, CT, and Karen C. Moran and her husband Kevin of Tolland, CT; three grandchildren, Natalie Klukas, and Robyn and Jordan Moran; and his brother, Peter Corsini. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Edward School Memorial Fund, 6 Benton St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
