Josephine Blodgett's Obituary
Josephine S. Blodgett, 93, formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Clifford W. Blodgett, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Blair Manor, Enfield, CT. She was born in Winfield, Long Island, NY, daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Babiel) Sierputowski. Josephine retired from Uniform Printers Company as a machine operator. She was also a member of St. Edward Parish, enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her friends at Blair Manor participating in various activities. She was loved and will be missed by all. Josephine is survived by her daughter, Kathleen B. O'Dette of Roswell, New Mexico; three sisters, Florence Boucher of Enfield, CT, Cecilia Humphrey of Stafford Springs, CT, and Martha Jones of Rockville, CT; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Ravetto and Alice Murphy; and four brothers, Vaz, Walter, Henry, and Joseph Sierputowski. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 9:30-11 A.M. with a funeral service at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Blair Manor Recreation Fund, 612 Hazard Ave., Enfield, CT 06082.
