Josephine Kmetz's Obituary
Josephine E. Kmetz, 89, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Greenfield, MA, daughter of the late Ernest and Martha (Howard) Gaudry. Josephine was a very talented woman. She was a professional singer having traveled all over the country to different venues, an artist whose paintings were sold in the Springfield area, and a dress maker for the former G. Fox stores. She was also a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Josephine is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Harold M. Kmetz; her son, Todd Kmetz and his wife Debra of Stafford Springs, CT; and two granddaughters, Cassondra and Heidi. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Church Service at 11 A.M. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
