Josephine Wiecenski's Obituary
Josephine Wiecenski, 96, of Hopkins Rd., Ellington, CT, beloved wife of the late Stephen Wiecenski, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2008 at Fox Hill Nursing Home, Rockville, CT. She was born in Willington, CT, daughter of the late John and Anna (Gladysz) Gachinsky. Josephine worked as a sewing machine operator with Pioneer Parachute in Manchester for many years before retiring. She is survived by her daughter, Stella Wiecenski of Ellington, CT; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Gachinsky; and two sisters, Mary Rothe and Frances Yara. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 2 P.M. at St. Edward Cemetery, West Stafford Rd. (Rte. 190), Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111, or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450.
